FAMILY PRACTICE

The BRANCH Medical Clinic provides complete health care service to you and/or your family members. We assess and treat everything from mild colds and fevers to chronic health conditions requiring long term management such as high blood pressure and diabetes. Our ultimate priorities is to build a long-term relationship with our patients and families so that we can provide personalized care. We aim to involve our patients with their own health goals and set priorities for routine preventative healthcare


WALK-IN/SAME DAY APPOINTMENT

At The BRANCH Medical Clinic, you do not need an appointment to see a walk-in doctor if one is available. Our physicians aim to provide same day assessment and treatment for you.


ANNUAL GENERAL PHYSICAL EXAMINATION

The BRANCH Medical Clinic provides physical exams, as every Albertans are advised to have a periodic health examination annually or as needed. Our examinations include total body check-up, weight, height, BMI, blood pressure and necessary investigations. At The BRANCH Medical Clinic, our physical examinations are thorough for early diagnosis and prevention of disease.


PEDIATRIC CARE

The BRANCH Medical Clinic provides a comprehensive pediatric care for infants, children, and adolescents. Our baby check-ups include: General Check ups; Weight/Height measurements; Head circumference measurement, etc.


WOMEN HEALTHCARE

At The BRANCH Medical Clinic, we provide health care services to women, such as:

  • Family Planning,

  • Contraceptive Management,

  • Pap Test,

  • Std Screening,

  • Breast Health,

  • Menopause etc.

Please note: The PAP Test which is also known as a Pap smear or cervical cytology or Papanicolaou Test, involves collecting cells from the cervix to check for abnormal cells and early detection for cancer cells. 


DRIVER’S MEDICAL EXAMINATION

The BRANCH Medical Clinic provides driver’s medical examination, which is considered as an Uninsured Service. This service is provided free for all seniors aged 75 years and over who are resident of Alberta.


TRAVEL NEEDS, VACCINATIONS, AND IMMUNIZATIONS

The BRANCH Medical Clinic provides travel medicine, vaccinations, and Immunizations advice. Common travel vaccines include: Diphtheria and Tetanus; TwinRix® Vaccines; Hepatitis A and/or Hepatitis B; Anti-Malarial Drugs, Typhoid vaccine, and Cholera vaccine.


WORKER’S COMPENSATION ASSESSMENTS

The BRANCH Medical Clinic provides care for work related injuries. Our physicians are knowledgeable about the WCB process. Our physicians will work with you to ensure you get appropriate care and documentation.


GENERAL REFERRALS

We provide general referrals to specialists.


OUT-OF PROVINCE

Although, most of our patients are here in Red Deer, Alberta, The BRANCH Medical Clinic also accept out-of province patients. However, some of these out-of-province patients may need to pay an up-front fee and then we can help seek for reimbursement from their provincial health insurance.


OUT-OF COUNTRY

At The BRANCH Medical Clinic, we welcome and accept out-of country patients. However, these patients will be billed privately.
